Around
the world.
It started as a group of mates, a little too obsessed with bikes, wanting to do something crazy and make room for an honest conversation to begin. What it sparked was a movement worldwide. Crossing continents and cultures. The Man Ride has touched many, and hopefully helped change the lives of those who needed it.
Come around the world
LongreachAustralia
RED EARTH
The first Man Ride left Longreach for Airlie Beach in 2016: 1,000 kilometres across four days. The outback gave riders room to talk about mental health, particularly where distance and isolation can make those conversations harder to begin.
Pacific CoastUnited States
THE PACIFIC EDGE
We then went to the Pacific Coast. 1,000 kilometres from the Oregon–California border to Santa Barbara. With Aaron Stinner and an incredible crew of blokes that loved bikes as much as we do.
WalesUnited Kingdom
WET ROADS
The 2017 ride began in Holyhead and travelled to London over five days. A chance conversation at a coffee stop made the purpose deeply personal, while rides in other cities carried the same conversation further.
Kuala LumpurMalaysia
CITY / CANOPY
In 2018, Kuala Lumpur was one of nine cities joining Man Ride within a single 48-hour window. Jeff Liew and the incredible team at The Bike Artisans have always been an incredible supporter of the initiative. A local ride, carried with the same invitation into another climate and another community: move together and make room to talk.
SingaporeSingapore
FIRST LIGHT
One of the most vibrant cycling cities in the world has also been a home for Man Ride for years. In Singapore, dense streets, tropical green and open water sit within a few turns of one another.
MedellĂn to BogotáColombia
HIGH COUNTRY
In 2019, Ben Hitchins and Carlos Orozco rode from MedellĂn to Bogotá as one of five self-supported Man Rides across five continents. The route included Alto de Letras, using shared difficulty to make space for stories that were harder to carry alone.
Wide open roadsCanada
WIDE OPEN
We have been everywhere in Canada. From Nova Scotia with Jeff Sangster to Montreal. Long roads, forest, chilling cold, and brutal humidity.
BrisbaneAustralia
THE SUMMIT
Brisbane became both a Global Man Ride city and a lasting home for the movement. From our devoted Ambassadors who selflessly help every year, to our staff who work for weeks to bring it to fruition.
